People who inspire me

Marilyn Monroe
MM inspires me in so many ways.  Her womanly power and sex appeal she had inspires me to be me and no one else.  She was such a huge sex symbol back in the 50's!!!  Until her suspicious death in 1962 at the age of 36.  But not only that, she had great talent and wonderful fashion sense.  She always wore the classic pinup style.  Black cat like eyeliner, with the classic red lip.  MM's style never goes out of style, Hollywood personals today copy her many times over.  Its classic, you can't go wrong with Marilyn Monroe.

Gabrielle "CoCo" Chanel
Coco Chanel was a very power fashion icon; and still is.  It's amazing how this woman started her massive company that still runs today known as Chanel.  She started as a seamstress working for a shop, and worked her way up by creating her own hats.  She met a lover and he opened up a shop for her to sell her hats to the ton in France.  On the side she was saving money to get her younger sister out of the convent, but her sister later died in child birth.  Later on she began to design clothing that was inspired by some men's fashion...Comfortable, that's what she wanted woman to feel in their cloths.  And she began on that project growing, and growing....until what it is today, COCO CHANEL.  She continued to run her company and designing for Chanel until she was 87 years old when she died in 1971.  Now, tell me that doesn't inspire someone???

Rihanna
Uh this girl, what can I say?  I love how she always changes her hairstyles and color!  Love, love, love it!!! She inspires me to take risk with my hair (not always a good idea lol) but I don't care lol.

Jenifer Lopez
JLO inspires me to be the Puerto Rican woman that I was born to be.  Also to dress my best according to my body type, and according to how we Borricua women always love to look our best no matter where we go.  Like I always say, "you never know who you might run into."  When have you seen her wear something ugly on her shape?  Never that I can think of! lol

60's Makeup Inspired by Edie Sedgwick

Edie Sedgwick was an actress and a model.  Her death was do to drugs and heavy drinking; she died young.  Took barbiturates to sleep and never woke up again.  I do not know much about her, I do get inspired by her makeup however.  She wasn't always in the best state of mind to do her own makeup, so my version is a cleaner look of hers.  It consist of very heavy black mascara, black eyeliner, false lashes, and white eyeliner; all to make the eyes appear large like Edie's.  Very matte skin, no shine, peachy cheeks and a nude lip that is very 60's.  I hope you have enjoyed some of the information mentioned about Edi Sedgwick and enjoy my pictures as well. xoxo
